Actor Barry Jackson was known for his roles on the silver screen. Jackson's earliest roles were in film, including the dramatic adaptation "Alfred the Great" (1969) with David Hemmings, the dramatic adaptation "The Bofors Gun" (1969) with Nicol Williamson and the romance "The Raging Moon" (1970) with Malcolm McDowell. He also appeared in "Ryan's Daughter" (1970) with Robert Mitchum, "Barry Lyndon" (1975) with Ryan O'Neal and the Malcolm McDowell action picture "Aces High" (1977). Later, he earned a role in "Mr. Love" (1986). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Fortunes of War" (PBS, 1987-88). He also starred in the TV movies "Silent Witness: Blood, Sweat and Tears" (1996-97) and "The Killings at Badger's Drift" (1997-98). He also was featured in the TV movies "Faithful Unto Death" (1998-99), "Blood Will Out" (1999-2000) and "Death's Shadow" (1999-2000). He also appeared in "Beyond the Grave" (1999). Most recently, Jackson acted in the romantic comedy "The Wedding Video" (2014) with Lucy Punch.
